「のび太と緑の巨人伝DS」は、2008年3月6日に発売され、価格は税込み5,040円。ゲームの中で登場するひみつ道具は、70種類以上もありますが、オリジナルひみつ道具の「そくせき道具レンジ」を使えば、集めてきた材料を使って、世界にたった一つのひみつ道具を作ることもできます。また、「心の友システム」では、ジャイアン、スネ夫、そしてしずかちゃんが、それぞれ得意な力を使って助けに来てくれます。
2008年のドラえもん映画「のび太と緑の巨人伝」が、ニンテンドーDSでも楽しむことができます。さらに、合成したアイテムを使って、のび太の部屋等をあなたの好きなようにアレンジできる「カスタムひみつきち」システムも搭載しています。ドラえもんとのび太という名コンビで行なう協力プレイは、ドラえもんの世界がそのままゲームになっています。
ドラえもんは、移動系のひみつ道具を駆使し、のび太は攻撃系の道具を駆使して、2人を場面ごとにうまく切り替えることで、道をどんどん切り開いて進んでいきます。また、映画の名場面を再現している、6つのミニゲームも収録していて、映画の世界に入ったような気分になります。
「のび太と緑の巨人伝DS」は、ドラえもんとのび太がひみつ道具をうまく使って、地球の緑を守っていくという、本格的なアクションゲームです。もちろん、映画で登場するかわいいキャラクターのキー坊も大活躍します。
